The Carpet Burn Cup series is back for 2012 kicking off in style with the Big Air on Wednesday January 25th.
The series will include slalom, skier/boarder cross, rails, bumps and quarterpipe before finishing with an airbag final on June 6th. Get points for every round that you enter so the more you come along to, the higher up the leaderboard you can get. As an added incentive, entry to the airbag final will be free for anyone with more than 45 points from the earlier rounds!
As per last year the Wednesday session before the next round will be a practice round with a mock set up of the competition, so if you've not ridden your board through poles, or skied down the bumps since last year those sessions will be the key to your success. Wax those bases, sharpen those edges and get ready for some carpet burns.
COMPETITION TIMES
For all events Juniors start 6pm, Seniors start 8pm. Slope open for practice 1 hour before competition starts.
